the challenge

A well known chemical company experienced issues with its O Rings in their solvent production plant where they manufacture high purity chemicals for a wet clean process. The customer was using inefficient elastomers in their outdoor tank. The concerns were around the elastomer being too rigid at temperatures below +10°C (+50°F), contamination, and installation issues.

To use Perlast® G100XT FFKM as it provides lower modulus, ultra-high purity, and capability to withstand low temperatures down to -20°C (-4°F).
