Way Wipers: Fabricated and Moulded Profiles

Way Wipers save maintenance cost, minimize downtime, and lengthen the durability of the machine tool way. Furthermore, they are moulded from abrasion and oil-resistant Nitrile (NBR) rubber.

Way Wiper types supplied include:

Type A – Metal enclosed moulded wiper with a finger spring to act as a chip guard

Type B – Moulded wiper with metal strip bonded to one side

Type C – Molded wiper only, recommended use of metal mounting plate

Type D – Molded wiper with a light strip which acts as a finger spring and chip guard

Profiles:

All 4 types present the same style wiping media and are obtainable. In addition, they can be simply cut to the desired length. Oversized holes may be drilled in wiper, therefore screws can be used to fasten wiper to sliding media. Use of oversized holes makes it simpler to de-form the wiper nearer to the way for prolonged service life. Consequently,  they are perfect for low to moderate volumes, frequently used in maintenance and repair applications.
