What are GACO Seals?

Recognized as G.A.C.O, George Angus and Co. seals are world-renowned for their manufacturing processes and product quality. Founded in 1788, George Angus and Co. were merged with Dunlop Ltd in 1968 to form Dunlop Angus Industrial Group. However, George Angus and Co. no longer exist, but the term ‘GACO’ lives on as a genericisation term which is a lot like Hoover, Super Glue, Teflon, and Biro.

GACO comes in a variety of types and sizes including Imperial and Metric. Generally categorized alphabetically these seals are DS, E ( including E90, E75, E60, E45 ) FR, G, HN, HR, KR, LR, P95, P90, P75, P60, P45, R, RG, SIL, VA.
