Minnie Appleton retires after 30 years with M Barnwell Services

Minnie Appleton has left her post as Regional Branch Manager at Bellshill after 30 years with the UK’s leading manufacturer, stockist, and distributor of fluid sealing products, M Barnwell Services.

Minnie joined M Barnwell Services initially in a sales support role, transitioning to Regional Branch Manager.

Throughout her successful career, Minnie has been instrumental in growing the company in Scotland through alliances and key account development.

Michael Barnwell, M Barnwell Services MD, said: “On behalf of M Barnwell Services, I want to express our great appreciation and wholehearted thanks for all the work she has done.

Over the past 30 years, Minnie has consistently shown herself to be a loyal and hardworking employee, an integral part of the business, and a kind generous person.

It is with regret that we lose Minnie’s experience, determination and loyalty but I wish her and her family, all the best for the future.”

Minnie said she wished M Barnwell Services “continued success” and that she was looking forward to exploring new interests and hobbies.

Taking over as Regional Branch Manager is Eddie Crawford.

Commenting on his new position Michael Barnwell, said, “Eddie has a wealth of experience within M Barnwell Services and the Fluid Sealing Industry. I have full confidence that he will work hard to achieve our aims for now and the future, and I wish him every success in his new role.”
