M BARNWELL SERVICES RACE FOR SUCCESS AT AGM
2017 AGM Success
M Barnwell Services held its 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on January 24th, at their HQ in Birmingham.
All seven branches, from across the UK, attended along with a number of other key departments and the board of Directors.
During his address, Director Steve Barnwell, highlighted some milestones, including:
- Launch of the new website
- Regional growth and success
- The moving forward of new IT systems
- Continued partnerships with the leading industry manufacturers
The theme was R.A.C.E. An acronym that stands for Revenue, Accountability, Customer Service and Excellence. Steve Barnwell outlined each point and related that to the business principles of M Barnwell Services. He stated by following R.A.C.E, continued success in all areas can be achieved in 2017 and beyond.
Mike Barnwell, Managing Director, commented by saying: “It’s always a delight to hear from our managers – sharing their successes, growth experiences and outlining their future plans.”
“In 2016 M Barnwell Services made progress on all fronts, despite a challenging environment. Production remained strong, stock and supply resources were all increased to meet the demand of the market.”
“The company achieved notable expansion in Exports. The Exports team have worked extremely hard in 2016 managing to secure some high profile online targets. A special mention should go to everyone involved in that team.”
Barnwell, concluded: “We are particular excited at our future prospects especially with the resurgence of the Oil and Gas and Semiconductor industries.”
“We remain the UK’s largest independent distributor and stockist of fluid sealing products and hope to create more business opportunities in 2017.
