Fifty Years of Service at M Barnwell Services

M Barnwell Services, the UK’s leading manufacturer, stockist and distributor of fluid sealing products has recently celebrated the long service achievements of two of its employees.

Minnie Appleton, Scotland Branch Manager, has been at M Barnwell Services since 1990. She said: “When I joined over 25 years ago we had a much smaller team and fewer customers to look after. Since then the company and the team has continued to grow and my job has become even more busy and varied.”

Minnie added: “The dynamics of the role and the industry is always changing. This is why it has been so easy to stay with the company for such a long period of time. Aside from the job itself, M Barnwell Services is also a very nice place to work and the family atmosphere certainly encourages employees like me to remain with the firm.”

In addition to Minnie, Samantha Poole, Dartford Branch Manager, was also recognised for 25 years’ service. She said: “It has been fun working at M Barnwell Services for so many years. Watching it grow and being a part of a team that now services a wide range of products to customers all over the globe.”

Founder and Managing Director, Mike Barnwell, is delighted to see so many long-term employees remaining with the company. He said: “Since M Barnwell Services was founded 44 years ago, we have always strived to provide a professional service while maintaining a real family feel in our office.”

“M Barnwell Services has grown significantly over the past 44 years, but providing the right environment for our employees has remained a priority. I’m delighted to see Minnie and Samantha celebrate these anniversaries and thank them for their hard work and service over the years.”

In achievement of their 25 years’ service Minnie and Samantha were presented with special anniversary gifts. Minnie receiving a Carriage Clock and Samantha a watch.
