Conversion Formulas in Sealing

Below Formulas can be used to convert your required metrics.

Cross Section CS = (OD – ID) ÷ 2

Inner Diameter ID = OD – (2 x CS)

Outer Diameter OD = ID + (2 x CS)

Inner Diameter ID = (CL ÷ π) – CS

°F = (1.8 x °C) + 32

°C = (°F – 32) ÷ 1.8

mm to inch = mm ÷ 25.4

inch to mm = inch x 25.4

KEY

CS – Cross Section

CL – Cut Length

ID – Inner Diameter

OD – Outer Diameter

Π = 3.1416

°C – Celsius

°F – Fahrenheit
