the challenge

The customer challenged us with a persistent vacuum loss in the vertical vacuum pan mixer during the crystallisation process. They were using outdated technology with stuffing box packings, however, these had to be constantly altered by the maintenance team for the purpose of maintaining the necessary vacuum.

Ultimately, after very thorough discussions and in-depth analysis, we have persuaded the customer to design a new pan mixer featuring Garlock 3-D Seal.
